Forest Park Forever Marketing & Communications Specialist Jasmine Evans Named to Focus St. Louis’ Spring 2015 Emerging Leaders Class

ST. LOUIS, February 11, 2015 — Focus St. Louis has named Forest Park Forever Marketing & Communications Specialist Jasmine Evans to their Spring 2015 class of Emerging Leaders. This competitive program offers a select group of St. Louis’ young and talented the opportunity to receive training to develop leadership and management skills.

Emerging Leaders aims to provide young professionals a better understanding of the inner workings of the St. Louis community, an opportunity to develop leadership skills, a chance for personal growth and self-assessment, exposure to volunteer involvements and a diverse network of peers.

“I am extremely excited about my acceptance into the Emerging Leaders Program,” said Jasmine Evans. “Any opportunity to gain knowledge for the betterment of myself and my community should not be taken for granted. It is humbling to know that organizations like Forest Park Forever and Focus St. Louis are committed to strengthening and sharpening the professional and leadership skills of the region's young professionals."

“We are excited about this news and proud of Jasmine,” said Forest Park Forever President and Executive Director Lesley S. Hoffarth. “As an alumna of Focus St. Louis' CORO Women in Leadership program, I understand firsthand the positive impacts their programs have. Forest Park Forever is pleased to support the continued growth and development of our employees.”

Evans, who has been with Forest Park Forever since May 2011, is the second Forest Park Forever staff member to be named an Emerging Leader. Associate Development Director Alexi Etges participated in the program in spring 2014.
