Catch Two Forest Park Traditions on Art Hill This Week

Art Hill is the place to be this week because of two popular events.

1. The St. Louis Symphony will be performing classical favorites on September 12 at 7:00 p.m. Pack a picnic and bring a blanket for this FREE event under the stars.

  • Metro will be providing FREE shuttles to the concert.

  • Forgot your picnic? Don’t worry, an abundance of food trucks will be on site to fulfill your cravings.

  • Stay until the end to watch the incredible firework show.

2. The Great Forest Park Balloon Race returns to Forest Park this Friday and Saturday, September 14-15.

  • Stop by Friday night from 7:00-9:00 p.m. to catch the “Gaslight Glow.” Catch another firework show on Art Hill at 9:15 p.m. on Friday night.

  • Festivities begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday for the Race, with live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities leading up the balloon launch at 4:30 p.m.
